HIA is currently seeking Trainers and Assessors for CHC and ELICOS Courses to join our dynamic and dedicated team.Trainer and Assessor for Childcare courses and Individual SupportCHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and CareCHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and CareCHC33021 Certificate III in Individual SupportThe candidate needs to meet the ELICOS teacher's requirements.Trainer and Assessor Role ResponsibilitiesEfficient and effective delivery of vocational courses across different timetables/shiftsEfficient and effective assessing and marking of assessmentsMonitoring student progress and formal reporting of student resultsOptimising student engagement continuouslyImplement strategies to motivate student learningMaintain professional development and industry currencyParticipation in course validationsIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovationAdhere to teaching-related administrative tasksAny other related tasks as required by the PrincipalSelection CriteriaTAE40116 or aboveVET Currency and Current Industry skillsContinuing and verifiable professional developmentSound knowledge of training packages and relevant regulationsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsHave a passion for education and making a differenceA positive attitude and professional work ethicsAbility to work as part of a team and independently and proactivelyAll applicants who meet the required criteria are highly encouraged to apply.Your application will include the following questions:Do you have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment?How many years' experience do you have as a trainer and assessor?Do you have experience working for a registered training organisation (RTO)?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Have you completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care?Do you have a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care?How many years' experience do you have as a Vocational Education Trainer?How would you rate your English language skills?
