Quality & Training Specialist Position Overview Full time contract until June 30th, 2025On-site position located in Brisbane, 4000SCHADS 5 ($49.77 - $52.03 p/hr) plus super. Salary packaging available.As a key member of the Clinical Governance department, the Quality & Training Specialist is responsible for the development and maintenance of appropriate clinical practice and service delivery through quality related functions, such as, but not limited to, undertaking quality reviews, providing one-on-one coaching support for practitioners who are engaged in learning development or performance improvement plans and also, provide constructive feedback to the leadership team that will assist in the identification of training, coaching and mentoring needs for the team.
Furthermore, this role will research, design and deliver contemporary training of best-practice programs that are both engaging and trauma-informed for a variety of audiences and will also design, develop and deliver Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV)-focused training for external organisations, businesses, and stakeholders, via eLearning modules and in-person or virtual workshops.
Role Requirements Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Counselling or Psychology with experience in the areas of Clinical Practice or Learning & Development.Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent would be well regarded or a minimum of professional development in the training space and 1+ year experience in a similar role.Well-developed knowledge and analysis of the effects, causes and dynamics of domestic family and sexual violence.Knowledge of relevant legislative framework primarily in Queensland, regarding domestic family and sexual violence and victims of crime.Exceptional and effective interpersonal, communication, presentation and engagement/consultation skills using a range of contemporary engagement practices.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment.Passion for making a difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by domestic and family violence.Ability and willingness to obtain National Police Check and Positive Notice BlueCard prior to commencing employment.Right to work in Australia.All offers of employment are subject to satisfactory background checks, including a National Police Check, Working with Children Check, referee checks and proof of eligibility to work in Australia.
