The precinct has become one of the city's favourite meeting places and is home to an award-winning collection of restaurants and bars, including Beer Corner, Wine Merchant, Long Chim, Shop 1875, Wildflower, Cape Arid Rooms, POST Osteria & Bar and more.
Role
The team at Petition are searching for a passionate Assistant Venue Manager to work alongside the Operations Manager.
As the Assistant Venue Manager, you will be customer-focused, enjoy developing an enthusiastic team, manage the venue and work closely with the Operations Manager to increase revenue and manage costs.
This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to grow their hospitality leadership experience alongside an experienced and award-winning team.
About you
A passion for hospitality Strong hospitality background and able to understand and execute the successful inner workings of a venue Previous management experience is necessary Ability and drive to lead an enthusiastic team Ability to deliver memorable experiences to every guest Outstanding communication and organisational skills Strong understanding of back of house stock control High standards of presentation for both yourself and your work Working for the State Buildings gives you access to desirable benefits, such as:

The ideal candidate will have:
A strong hospitality background.
Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to deliver memorable experiences to every guest.
Obtained an RSA certificate and Approved Managers Role Type We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Australians and Traditional Custodians of the lands where we live, learn and work.
