Retail Lease Transaction Manager

Knowledge of leases or contracts in the Property / Legal IndustryWork within a collaborative and supportive team structureMelbourne | Land of the Wurundjeri peopleWe have an opening for a proactive Retail Lease Transaction Manager responsible for the paralegal lease administrative support for ISPT, property management, and the wider leasing teams. You will work closely with the CBRE Property Management team, Finance, Legal and external stakeholders. As a detailed-oriented professional you are accountable for managing and administering lease agreements, ensuring compliance with lease terms, and providing support to the property management team.Here's what you will focus on:Prepare all lease related documentation including:Review lease proposal to ensure terms are clear and markups reviewedCirculate signed lease approvals for signatory approvalPrepare and issue leasing instructions, tenancy instructions, document execution'sRespond to lease negotiations from external solicitors and obtain relevant landlord approvals for lease negotiationsReporting and auditing on document statusReview external lawyers' legal invoices before issuing to the Centre Mgmt teams for processingWorking knowledge with the retail leases act(s) and ensure all negotiations comply with the relevant act and legislationAbout you:Previous experience in retail lease administration, property law or a paralegalComprehensive knowledge of relevant retail lease legislation for each stateAn understanding of lease issues, licenses, legislation and property documentation desirableExcellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesHighly organised with strong accuracy and attention to detailThe initiative and drive to take ownership of your matters and client portfolios.What's in it for you?Structured career development to support you and explore your learning potential and career goalsParental leave which is industry leading, kids school holiday program, hybrid working, flex time, flex leave - tell us how you want to workYou'll form an integral part of an enormously successful team who outperform in the market year on yearWe are proud to be certified as a Family Inclusive Workplace in Australia.
