Job Description Knowledge with data analytics and tools/techniquesUnderstanding of data modeling and data visualisation best practices.Proficiency in data analysis techniques, including statistical analysis and data mining.Familiarity with ETL (Extract, transform, load) processes and data integration frameworks.Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, querying and manipulationUnderstanding of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and their role in data integrationFamiliarity with various data presentation layers - Excel, BI tools (Power BI/Tableau, etc.
)Key Responsibilities Work with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and data needs and develop effective BI solutions.Help to develop dataflows and datasets that are high quality and well-modelled.Assist with business uptake of BI reports, dashboards, self-service and digital literacy.Monitor the performance and stability of existing reports, datasets and dataflows.Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability.Develop professional documentation, including but not limited to report requirements and technical design documents.Maintain awareness of industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance company standards, products, and capability.Understand, work within, and contribute to procedures and data standards and governance.Collaborate with data stewards and other professionals to design solutions or resolve issues.Undertake additional duties as required and during periods of leave of other staff.What's on Offer Dealing and interacting effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding.Being able to prioritise workloads and balance customer needs.Promoting a data-driven culture by embedding analytics-enabled models and data-driven decision making in the business.Changing existing technology and adopting new systems and processes in an environment resistant to change. #J-18808-Ljbffr
