D'Arcy Weil is representing a leading energy solutions provider renowned for its expertise in Virtual Power Plant (VPP) and control systems.
Our client is dedicated to advancing the energy sector through innovative VPP technologies and sophisticated control systems.
They are seeking a skilled VPP & Control Systems Manager to lead the management and optimisation of these critical systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation and performance of VPP and control systems, ensuring they meet performance targets and operational standards.
This role offers a unique opportunity to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of advanced energy solutions in a rapidly evolving industry.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and optimise the operation of VPP and control systems.Develop and implement strategies to enhance system performance and efficiency.Oversee the integration of new technologies and upgrades into VPP and control systems.Monitor system performance, identifying and addressing issues to ensure optimal operation.Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to support system development and improvements.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and operational standards.Analyse performance data to provide insights and recommendations for system optimisation.Lead troubleshooting and problem resolution efforts for VPP and control systems.Manage relationships with stakeholders, including technology providers and regulatory bodies.Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.Develop and present reports on system performance, operational issues, and improvement initiatives.Support the training and development of team members involved in VPP and control systems.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards.Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.Extensive experience in managing VPP and control systems, including operational and performance aspects.Strong understanding of VPP technologies, control systems, and energy management.Proven track record of leading projects and teams in a technical environment.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.Experience with system integration, upgrades, and technology deployment.Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to VPP and control systems.Experience with relevant software and tools used in VPP and control systems management is desirable.Benefits: Market-leading remuneration and comprehensive benefits.Opportunity to lead the management of advanced VPP and control systems.Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid work options.Professional development and career advancement opportunities.Collaborative and innovative work environment.Additional leave benefits, including wellness and volunteer days.Employee assistance programmes and wellness initiatives.For further information, please contact: IVAN PIGNATARO
