In this role, you will report directly to the Managing Director and be accountable for managing the tender and quoting pipeline, as well as developing comprehensive scopes of work to support commercial and government projects.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Managing and preparing accurate tenders, quotes, and variationsConducting detailed site visits to develop comprehensive scopes of workCommunicating effectively with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricingCompleting take-offs and creating detailed construction schedulesEnsuring project deadlines and tender submission dates are metReading and interpreting plans accurately for effective estimationCollaborating closely with the team to ensure high-quality outcomes for projectsWho We're Looking ForTo qualify, you will need proven experience in estimating, quoting, and tender writing, as well as the ability to read and interpret plans.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:Experience with tools such as Buildsoft Cubit, BuilderTrend, Wunderbuild, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft OfficeA valid Driver's Licence and Construction White CardCertificate IV in Building and Construction (Estimating) or a Certificate III in CarpentryBackground in design and contracts administration (preferred but not essential)As our ideal candidate, you will possess strong communication and collaboration skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to high-quality outcomes.
You will also bring an honest and easy-going personality, with an eagerness to learn and grow within the company.
