About Us : Curry N Hurry is a premier Indian restaurant in South Australia, specialising in authentic North and South Indian cuisine.
Our establishment takes pride in delivering exceptional dining experiences through traditional recipes and premium ingredients.
We have 3 branches in Adelaide City, Prospect, and Blackwood.
CHEF POSITION About the Role : As a Chef, you will report to the Head Chef.
We are looking for an experienced and qualified candidate.
This is a Full-time role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Programme and execute menu items focusing on authentic North and South Indian cuisineSupervise kitchen staff and maintain high-quality food preparation standardsEnsure proper storage and handling of ingredients and spicesMonitor food costs and stock managementMaintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standardsTrain and mentor junior kitchen staffCollaborate with management on menu development and specialitiesQUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE : Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalentMinimum one year's relevant experience or 3 years full-time relevant experience if not qualified.Proven knowledge of food safety and Work Health and Safety LegislationPractices a hands-on, active management approach, directly involved in kitchen operations.Possesses extensive expertise and skills in all areas of a commercial kitchen environment.Able to foster a cohesive, positive team culture and lead the kitchen staff by demonstrating desired behaviours.Leads from the front, setting an example through own actions and work ethic for others to follow.Job Type : Permanent Full-time
Salary : Chef : $73,000 - $80,000 per annum (plus Superannuation)
