Our client is currently undergoing a number of continuous improvement initiatives within the payroll function, and offer excellent opportunities for internal career progression.
DescriptionReporting to the Payroll Operations Manager, your role will include:
Completing monthly and fortnightly payrolls, which includes all data entry, payroll processing and end of period reportingProcess online leave applications, change requests, superannuation, workcover and salary packaging itemsEnsure all payroll systems are up to date, payroll adjustments are appropriately authorised and recordedComplete month end and year end close processesAnalyse and check all payroll information is accurateBe across new legislation and ensure payroll is processed as requiredEnsure controls are in place and are completed to reduce and/or minimise riskRespond to queries and requests for information in a timely manner, including investigating further into complaints or issues regarding paysEnsure internal processes are captured for all aspects of payroll and are easily accessibleOther ad hoc tasksProfileWe are seeking experienced payroll candidates who can thrive in a fast paced environment.
