As a Receptionist, you will be passionate about providing a luxurious experience for our guests at every touch point. You will take the time to listen to our guests and make them feel heard, and to do that you are genuinely fascinated by people, curious, and an excellent story spotter. You will be responsible for providing professional and personalised service to all hotel guests, visitors, and ambassadors, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.To be successful in this sought-after position, you will have excellent attention to detail, effective communication skills, proven experience within a quality establishment, and above all else, pride yourself on your ability to exceed both guest expectations and hotel standards.QualificationsMinimum of 6 months experience in hotelsBe highly organised and able to effectively manage prioritiesHandle tasks carefully and correctly – be thorough and exact in details with a sense of urgencyDemonstrate versatility in responding to guest requests and situationsRemain calm and effective in high volume work situationsBe a good team player; contribute to and assist co-workers without being askedOpera PMS experienceA professional appearance and attitude that is reflective of our brandFlexibility to work a rotating roster including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidaysAdditional InformationBenefits and Perks:Sofitel Melbourne on Collins provides ambassadors career development opportunities within the hotel and wider Accor Group.
