We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Human Resources Advisory Services as the HR Support Officer

The HR Support Officer plays a crucial role in supporting hiring managers in the Department of Health by assisting with direct-to-client recruitment activities, including coordinating Criminal History Checks and Job Evaluations.
In this role, you will provide timely and high-quality support and advice in alignment with the Recruitment team's priorities and commitments.

The successful person
You will have demonstrated:
Proficiency and accuracy in the application of computerised information systems and applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to quickly adapt to other systems will be necessary.
Ability to work and communicate effectively both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve the goals of the work unit.
High level of interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and ability to liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders in order to achieve organisation objectives.
Ability to set priorities to meet individual deadlines and take personal responsibility for accurate completion of work, seeking assistance when required to achieve work objectives.

About Corporate Services Division
The Corporate Services Division (CSD) provides contemporary expert advice and specialist corporate services to the department and Hospital and Health Services, including human resources policy and advice; system-level finance products and transactional services; risk, assurance and information management expertise; strategic legal and administrative legal services; and supports the largest and most complex workforce management, payroll, business, finance, and logistics solutions in the Queensland public sector.

CSD is also responsible for ensuring resilient procurement and supply chain services that support frontline healthcare; warehousing and distribution services for pharmaceuticals; and specialist healthcare laundry products.

Human Resources Branch partners with stakeholders across Queensland Health to provide human resource strategies and support to realise the potential of our people in the delivery of quality healthcare to Queenslanders.

The branch delivers a range of human resource services to attract and retain staff, build workforce culture and capability, develop and maintain employment arrangements, monitor and manage workforce performance, and provide assurance that the department's statutory obligations are met.
