Ndis Disability Support Worker

Aged & Disability Support (Community Services & Development)
We are hiring on behalf of a dedicated NDIS service provider seeking a compassionate and experienced Disability Support Worker.
The role involves working closely with an adult NDIS participant who has recently been discharged from the hospital and requires tailored support due to dementia.
Responsibilities: Assist with personal care, including toileting and showering.Meal preparation tailored to dietary needs.Booking and attending medical appointments.Provide companionship and understanding care for participants with dementia.Support day-to-day tasks with empathy and professionalism.About You: Experience working with dementia participants is highly desirable.Patient, reliable, and compassionate in approach.Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.Proactive in managing participant needs.Qualifications (Preferred): Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or related fields.Current First Aid and CPR certification.NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (Blue Card).Manual Handling or Medication Administration certification (advantageous).Your application will include the following questions:
