Group Finance Manager

Full-time Role Full-time role based in Cairns, North Queensland.
Lead a multidisciplinary team in a rapidly growing business.
Work closely with executive leadership and make a direct impact on company-wide initiatives.
About the Company Elite Executive are working exclusively with MSF Sugar, a local Cairns company that is considered a leader in their industry.

About the Role Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this hands-on position also involves strategic leadership as you contribute to the centralisation of shared services within the organisation.
You'll motivate and guide a multidisciplinary team of nine, fostering a professional, positive, and business-focused environment.
Responsibilities In this influential role, you will:
Lead financial reporting, including preparation of annual statutory accounts.Oversee internal and external audits.Manage tax-related compliance requirements and liaise with the Australian Taxation Office.Prepare consolidated income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows for executive reporting.Support enhancements in company management reporting and budgeting.Skills and Experience Required Tertiary qualifications and CA or CPA accreditation.Experience with SAP Hana and Cognos (highly regarded).Previous experience in agriculture or manufacturing sectors preferred.Strong familiarity with compliance: Accounting Standards, Corporations Act, and Taxation Act.Benefits A chance to play a strategic role in a growing organisation with deep community roots.A supportive and dynamic work environment.Opportunities to work alongside a diverse workforce and contribute to the success of a thriving company.If you are a self-motivated, detail-oriented finance professional ready to make an impact, this may be the role for you
