Competitive salary and three annual bonus schemes18 Weeks paid Parental Leave for primary caregiversCompany contribution towards private health cover for employees and immediate familyAbout the role: The Supply Chain team is currently seeking an Advisor External Repairs to join them on a Monday to Friday roster based at Perth, with regular travel to our sites required as part of the role.
Reporting to the Superintendent Rotables & Services Delivery, you will be responsible for providing input into the development and refinement of the External Repair management systems, process, procedures and related documentation.
The role is equally responsible for delivery of continuous improvement of the External Repairs process, to ensure equipment repairs meet quality, time and cost objectives.
Duties: Project manage selected vendors to deliver quality, timeliness and cost KPI's aligned with QA and QC objectivesManage the Rotables/External Repairs process ensuring all repairs comply with OEM and Roy Hill specificationsMonitor turnaround time and ensure items are returned to the relevant warehouse by the site-specified due dateBuild solid long-term partnerships with all internal and external stakeholdersPerform inspections and audits with related vendors to ensure high quality refurbishments have been completedSkills and Experience: Mechanical / Electrical Trade certification and senior level experience in resource industry maintenanceAbility to interpret and/or create technical documents and drawingsSolid understanding of materials management, planning and SAP MM or PM ModulesStrong interpersonal communication and negotiating skillsMix of Fixed or Mobile Plant maintenance background (Desirable)C Class Manual LicencePerth ROC Facilities: Free on-site parking at remote operational centre (ROC)Modern spacious office with break-out facilitiesIn-house café providing variety of hot & cold food options and barista coffeeFlexi Leave available to all Perth based office staffFlexible working hours outside of core business hoursActive social club with community events and activities for employeesLifestyle, Learning and Recreation initiative which provide events for your familyAbout the Company: Roy Hill is a world class mining company, leading the way through innovative, integrated mining rail and port operations, to export iron ore safely and efficiently from West Australia's Pilbara region.
