Purpose
As the Business Development Manager , you are responsible for account management of existing clients and for the development of new business opportunities through building relationships and proactive sales initiatives.
The position will identify revenue opportunities and undertake direct sales activity to convert business.

Primary Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities across the region for Mantra Melbourne Epping covering all market segments.
Increase the level of sales and business mix for individual clients, maximizing on every opportunity across all markets.
Research and define new revenue generating niche markets.
Establish a high profile across the region and with key accounts.
Creation of local account footprint for Mantra Melbourne Epping and to understand the key revenue drivers.
Develop and maintain strong, loyal relationships with existing accounts, within a highly competitive market.
Skills and Experience
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and presentation.
Strategic mindset with the ability to identify market trends and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Good understanding of hotel platforms.
Experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
