Statewide services and programs, including specialist outreach and telehealth services Partnerships with other hospital and health services and non-government organisations Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.
The Social Worker – Advanced (Rehabilitation) provides clinical expertise, professional leadership and supervision in management of the social work team and has a leadership role within the interdisciplinary Queensland Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (QPRS) service.
The Social Worker - Advanced will:
Deliver high level social work rehabilitation clinical services to children with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, limb deficiency, cerebral palsy (CP) and like conditions and their families as part of the interdisciplinary team within the state-wide role of the QPRS.
Provide oversight of social work for children requiring rehabilitation to coordinate the delivery of clinical services and to develop and maintain clinical excellence and high standards of care within QPRS.
Provide clinical and strategic leadership in the development of high-level service improvements and maintenance of standards of care within QPRS and across CHQ HHS.
