THE COMPANY

Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Manager to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing small to medium civil projects, with a hands-on approach from quoting to overseeing job completion.
You will work within a medium-sized construction and development business, supporting residential and civil construction projects across Brisbane.
Our client is an integrated builder and developer, managing civil construction, building works, and landscaping in-house.

Key Responsibilities:Accurately budget, quote, and estimate jobs efficiently.Manage and monitor projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality standards, deadlines, and budgets.Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Coordinate and appoint subcontractors and equipment to maintain the construction program.Oversee project progress, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.Manage budgets and resources effectively.Qualifications and Experience:Proven experience in running small to medium civil construction projects.Background in managing your own civil construction company or holding a significant role in a previous position.Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Alignment with core values of respect, reliability, and honesty.Commitment to maintaining a strong safety culture and continuous focus on quality.Attention to detail and strong decision-making ability.Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites around Brisbane.What's in it for you?Permanent full-time role in a secure company with over 20 years of operation.Attractive remuneration ranging from $150k-$200k depending on experience.A strong workplace culture where every person is recognised as vital to the overall success.Uniform provided.Opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects.Additional incentives such as a vehicle, phone, and laptop.If you are an experienced Civil Construction Manager looking for your next challenge and want to join a company that values its people as its most important asset, please apply now with an up-to-date copy of your resume.
