With our commitment to sustainability and advanced technologies, you'll be working on meaningful projects that make a positive impact.We are looking to recruit an ambitious Solar Sales Engineer with a proven ability to deliver exceptional outcomes to support our sales team in delivering value-based solutions to our clients as we continue to expand. The role will be based at Northgate in Brisbane.The Solar Sales Engineer will work closely with our sales and engineering teams, supporting commercial and industrial solar opportunities from 100kW to 3MW in size. Duties shall generally include:Develop an understanding of our clients' needsManage the preliminary design of commercial solar installationsAssist in the delivery of sales presentations for our clientsWork with the sales team to close dealsMaintain compliance with SAA requirements and AS/NZ StandardsGather and manage market intelligence such as competitor product and pricingSuperior customer service to all clients and stakeholdersConduct site inspections to identify any limitations / considerations for the solutionDevelop preliminary Bill of Materials for efficient costingsDevelop helioscope simulation for sales presentationExperience required:2 + years of experience in the solar industry in a similar commercial roleStrong hands-on experience in commercial salesAn excellent communicator, at ease being in a boardroom or onsite with the installation teamConfidence across the Microsoft suite of productsKnowledgeable in AUTOCadAt DS Energy, we believe in offering a collaborative and supportive work environment that allows our employees to stay at the forefront of the solar industry, with opportunities for personal and professional growth, and a career pathway in the dynamic and fast-growing renewable energy industry.Diversity and Inclusion Statement:DS Energy is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
