Empowering business leaders, entrepreneurs and investors to successfully invest, raise capital and/or do business in the Asia Pacific regionThe ideal candidate will lead initiatives to engage with Australian Institutional Investors to build relationships and position the company's clients (mainly Asian based fund managers - from China, India, SE Asia etc.)
to raise funds in Australia.
This candidate will have at least 6 years experience, excellent communication skills and a strong contact base amongst the decision-makers and influencers in Australia's institutional/wholesale investment market.
This is a flexible, project-based role which will suit an entrepreneurially minded financial services professional who is ready and committed to leading the charge into Asia.
Responsibilities Identify business development opportunitiesDevelop new and nurture existing relationships with Australian institutional/wholesale investorsCommunicate the opportunities to increase investment exposure in AsiaQualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience6 years' prior industry related business development experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProven knowledge and execution of successful development strategiesFocused and goal-oriented with an ability to work remotely and as part of a motivated teamSeniority levelMid-Senior level
