Description:About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to oversee and manage the clinical inpatient unit, ensuring the efficient execution of clinical trials.This is a full-time, permanent position with on-site hours from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with on-call coverage during weekends on a rotating roster with Clinical Nurse Supervisors.Key Responsibilities Act as the primary interface for Project Teams concerning clinical unit operations and clinical trialsOversee the resourcing and training of clinical staff to ensure adherence to study protocols, SOPs, and ICH GCP guidelinesManage the facility's maintenance and ensure all clinical equipment is serviced, calibrated, and documented correctlyLead the Clinical Nurse Supervisors and ensure the clinical unit has the necessary resources, personnel, equipment, and consumables to conduct trials safely and efficientlyParticipate in the administration of investigational products and provide support to staff as requiredCoordinate the unit schedule to meet project timelines and assist with quality systems development and auditsMaintain positive, collaborative relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.Skills & ExperienceEssential Requirements:AHPRA Registered NurseMinimum 12 months of management experience or similar leadership rolesComprehensive knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines and regulatory requirementsStrong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skillsProven ability to manage clinical trials in accordance with study protocols and SOPsDemonstrated leadership and staff management experienceDesirable Experience:Experience in early-phase clinical trialsPrevious experience in a management or supervisory role within a clinical settingWhy Join?Competitive salary with flexible roster optionsA blend of clinical and administrative responsibilities in a supportive environmentAbout Skilled NursingSkilled Nursing is a nursing division within Skilled Medical Pty Ltd, a leader in international health and Medical Recruitment placement for short-term and permanent roles.Skilled Medical is a doctor-led company with 15 years of industry experience, and is an international Medical Recruitment agency that helps qualified medical professionals with their career in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Ireland.With local offices located in Melbourne and London, we provide a personalised service to assist Nurses like yourself in finding their next role within the healthcare industry.
