About the client Multiple new exciting opportunities for Service Desk Technicians to work into the Department of Defence at the Leeuwin Barracks for a 3 month contract.
A Little About You As part of an unstoppable team of unique individuals, you'll leverage your troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to exceed customer expectations in a large, ever-evolving environment.
You'll get hands-on with IT-related issues and requests, all while delivering our award-winning customer service.
Your Day-to-Day Will Involve: Sharing lessons learned and driving process improvements within the team Troubleshooting and investigating IT-related issues over the phone Logging jobs and escalating to cross-functional teams when needed Collaborating with vendors and other service providers Providing high-level customer service by analysing user needs and developing rapport with clients.
What You'll Bring: A passion for technology and people The ability to learn quickly and follow new processes accurately Strong verbal and written communication skills Australian Citizenship and security clearance (required) Responsibilities: Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support to customers via phone and in person, including fault resolution or escalation according to pre-determined SLAs.
Utilize your experience in Helpdesk/Customer Service environments to deliver superior support.
Troubleshoot and implement creative solutions to complex problems.
Maintain customer site documentation and ensure the accuracy of the Service Desk Management system.
Handle IT troubleshooting across a range of technologies, including desktops, mobile devices, printers, servers, and networking.
Basic understanding of cloud services and the ability to investigate event monitoring alerts.
Due to the nature of this role, this job is open to Australian Citizens only.
Candidates who hold an active AGSVA Baseline clearance are encouraged to apply.
