International Fashion Brand that's growing in Australia and Overseas is looking to add to their Finance Team with an FP&A Analyst.The FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in improving the efficiency of operations by analysing historical data and modelling future expectations. This role supports commercial financial planning and analysis, delivering insights and actionable recommendations based on trends and comparisons. Additionally, the role will establish and monitor financial reporting KPIs, providing consistent updates to stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Assist with preparation of monthly management reporting, including P&L variance analysis, board reporting pack and monthly reporting to budget holders.Assist in the creation of the annual budget, reforecasting processes, and long-term financial planning to align with company objectives.Maintain robust financial models with strong audit trails to create budgets and reforecasts. Analyse historical data to identify trends and apply insights to future projections.Support identification of key business drivers to establish relevant KPIs, ensuring these are reported on a weekly and monthly basis to monitor performance.Manage and validate data to ensure its accuracy, completeness, and reliability for financial planning and analysis.Analyse the impact of different scenarios on profitability and cash flow, highlighting opportunities to maximise profitability.Provide actionable insights to managers to support informed business decisions.Support the business as required, which includes (but not limited to) the profitability and return on investment assessment for new business; business performance monitoring; new commercial initiatives across all business areas.Previous Experience:CA/CPA qualified.A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong skills in PowerPoint.Solid understanding of accounting principles, including P&L and balance sheet concepts, as well as three-way financial modelling.Ability to translate data into actionable insights rather than simply reporting figures.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with a strong grasp of data and systems.Proven ability to collaborate across teams, build relationships with stakeholders, and propose innovative solutions.Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.A proactive and well-organized mindset, with a meticulous attention to detail and a positive attitude.Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.Why Join?Competitive remuneration and benefits.A strong focus on health and wellbeing, with access to initiatives like fitness classes and mental health support.Hybrid work options for flexibility.Generous parental leave and volunteer days.Opportunities for growth and career progression.Employee discounts and allowances to help you thrive in your role.If you are ready to bring your analytical expertise and help drive our international growth, we want to hear from you
