The Biomedical Solutions Specialist is also responsible for contributing to the overall support of biomedical systems across all UCH sites.

Essential: Qualifications in ICT Infrastructure, information technology and technical architecture in a clinical disciplineKnowledge and ability with network management including:Installation and Configuration of peripheral devices and network componentsFault Finding network communication issuesNetwork securityHighly developed technical infrastructure knowledge and understanding of the latest trends in network design, Data Centre design, Real Time Location Systems, Virtual Servers, Storage and wireless technologiesExperience with Oracle Electronic Medical Record system.Experience with infrastructure design tools, infrastructure architecture design and integrated solutions.Must adhere to the values of the organisation.Desirable: Technical certification(s) in systems and networksExperience with medical electronics and or medical equipmentKnowledge of Standards Australia and other statutory requirements regarding medical equipmentPossess or obtain a Restricted Electrical Work LicenceSt Stephen's Hospital is proudly part of the UnitingCare family.
