As the Deputy Director, Student Wellbeing, you will report to the Director, Student Experience, and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, customer-focused support services and programs that enhance student health and wellbeing.
Your leadership will guide multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated health and wellbeing services, including Health Services, Counselling Services, AccessAbility, the Multifaith Centre, and the Safer Community team.
You'll be instrumental in shaping preventative and proactive wellbeing initiatives that support the entire student population, as well as leading the implementation of the university's Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment (SASH) Action Plan.
As a senior leader, you will contribute to the development of policies, strategies, and reporting frameworks, while driving evidence-based service delivery.
Your expertise in managing student wellbeing projects will ensure effective implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of outcomes that align with the university's commitment to an outstanding student experience.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing high performing, multi-disciplinary teams in the student wellbeing disciplineDemonstrated experience in the leadership and management of an operational team and ability to motivate them to achieve specific outcomes and goalsProven ability to manage significant projects and change initiatives to completion within the agreed timeframes and budgetExtensive knowledge of the health sector and of relevant community resourcesWell-developed strategic, analytical and conceptual skills, together with proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans, and monitor impact and track targetsQualifications A relevant Masters qualification and extensive relevant experience or equivalent qualification and/or substantial relevant experience in a clinical disciplineMembership of an appropriate professional bodyThis position is open only to applicants who have work rights in Australia To Apply
