About the role
As a Payment Solutions Officer, you will help manage a portfolio of accounts effectively to reduce the overall arrears rate for the wider business, always striving to deliver an excellent outcome for our customers even in times of hardship.

- Help handle incoming and outgoing phone and email inquiries related to payments, manage customer requests, review account adjustments, and resolve issues with client payments.

- Identify the cause of customer overdue payments and engage in discussions to find solutions, such as setting up payment plans.

- Recognise early signs from customers who might be facing financial troubles or suggesting problems with their cash flow and take appropriate actions in line with regulatory requirements.

- Be responsible for managing and monitoring designated accounts.
This includes handling customer calls, making account adjustments, handling minor balance write-offs, conducting customer reconciliations, and processing credit memos.

- Create and uphold productive and collaborative working connections.

- Engage in training sessions and receive consistent ongoing coaching and assistance.

Please note that this is a 12-month contract to start in December 2024.

About you
- You are an outstanding communicator.

- Your ability to think critically and problem-solve, while exercising a strong attention to detail is strong.

- You are highly empathetic and are comfortable liaising with customers who may be challenging.
You seek to understand where your customers are coming from.

- Troubleshooting and problem-solving come naturally to you.
You have a knack for fixing things and getting to the crux of the problem.

- You have collections experience using email and phone, with both inbound and outbound customers.
