Water Projects Contract Role Project Management Contract opportunity for a Design, Engineering and or Projects based candidate for Water projects.
To contribute to the delivery of high-quality engineering services within Water, focusing on design and technical aspects of projects to ensure safe and effective water services.
Key Accountabilities Demonstrate Organisational Compliance: Adhere to all relevant legislation, regulations, and organisational policies, including safety and ethical standards.
Collaborate with Team Members: Work effectively within a team to achieve project goals and support colleagues in their work Participate in team meetings and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
Prioritise Safety: Take responsibility for your own safety and that of your colleagues by following safety protocols and procedures.
Ensure compliance with Water's Safety in Design processes to minimise health and safety risks in design work.
Design Leadership: Contribute to the delivery of accurate and timely design outputs across various projects.
Assist in managing workloads effectively and participate in resource allocation discussions.
Customer Service: Help develop clear scopes of work for projects in collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Keep clients informed about project progress and any updates on costs.
Technical Standards and Innovation: Ensure your designs and advice comply with relevant standards and guidelines.
Participate in the development and improvement of design processes and documentation.
Qualifications: A degree in Engineering (B.Eng) in a relevant discipline.
Experience in engineering design and the ability to assess and solve technical problems.
Strong communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders.
Ability to prepare professional reports and engage in technical writing.
An Associate Diploma in Project Management or similar qualifications.
