As the leading provider of pet care services across Australia, Kip Happy Stays sets the benchmark for excellence, ensuring every pet receives the ultimate in care and enrichment during their stay.
We are on the look-out for a Cluster Manager to provide support to a remit of our QLD sites(our sites across QLD include Kip Newstead, Kip Brisbane, Kip Caloundra, Kip Ipswich and Kip Imparra).A Cluster Manager at Kip sits across multiple sites within a region and holds responsibility for driving growth, supporting leaders, building high-performing teams, and ensuring that we are providing exceptional care and enrichment for all pets during their stay. You will provide impactful on-the-ground support to our Site Managers and frontline teams to ensure they are supported in their roles.
The successful candidate for this role may be based anywhere within the Brisbane, Ipswich or Sunshine Coast regions. Interstate applicants who are willing to relocate are encouraged to apply.
Duties and responsibilities:
Lead, motivate and coach a high performing team across multiple locations.
Manage time between administration and site visits, ensuring at least one administration day per week and visiting sites other days, ensuring all sites are visited at least monthly.
Regularly review and drive site performance against KPIs, including sales, key metrics and P&L outcomes.
Monitor and support recruitment, internal succession planning, and performance management.
Ensure safety and presentation standards are maintained; review safety boards, conduct site inspections, and ensure maintenance schedules are up-to-date.
Support the implementation of, and adherence to, company policies and procedures at your sites.
Analyse current pet numbers, memberships, and social media presence.
Ensure effective delivery of services and additional revenue drivers.
Experience/Skills:
Previous experience in overseeing multiple locations or departments is highly regarded.
Previous experience in the animal care industry is highly regarded.
Strong financial management skills, including P&L analysis, budgeting and cost control.
Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary for effective team management, client interactions, and reporting to senior leadership.
Leadership experience including staff development and performance management, with a focus on mentoring managers and driving team performance.
Previous experience in streamlining operations for efficiency and effectiveness, including scheduling and resource allocation.
Commitment to high customer service standards and handling client interactions effectively.
Adaptable to changing business needs, with problem-solving skills and experience implementing corrective actions.
Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance.
Comfortable using various technology tools (payroll, CRM and communication platforms) with the ability to pick up new systems with ease.

Extra information
Regular travel required between sites (travel reimbursements available)
Primarily a Monday – Friday schedule; however, occasional public holiday shifts during peak periods and on-call availability for emergencies outside of the working roster.
Availability across our peak periods including all school holiday periods, Christmas and Easter is required.
