Product Management & Development (Information & Communication Technology)About the RoleAs a Product Manager at Halytech, you'll play a key role in driving the sales of our innovative environmental monitoring and sports lighting control solutions.
This role's focus is on expanding our presence in the Australian market while setting the stage for international growth.
Ultimately, you will be responsible for introducing our products and sharing the insights gained locally with customers worldwide.
Based in our Norwest, NSW office, this full-time position involves working closely with management and the product development team to define and execute effective product sales strategies.What You'll Be DoingEngaging with Customers: Building strong relationships with existing customers and actively reaching out to new clients to support business growth.Following Up on Leads: Taking a proactive approach in following up on leads, strengthening customer relationships, and driving new business with support from our in-house team.Providing Quotes and Handling Tenders: Preparing quotes, responding to tenders, managing orders, and following up on opportunities to ensure customer needs are met.Developing Go-to-Market Strategies: Planning and implementing strategies to promote existing products and launch new ones, ensuring they hit the target market.Gathering Customer Feedback: Regularly gathering insights from customers to identify opportunities for product improvements and new features.Collaborating with Engineering: Working closely with the management and engineering team to define product requirements and guide product development.Building a Sales Team: Acting as a product expert while supporting the development of a local and future international sales team.Enhancing Online Presence: Driving our online and social media engagement by creating targeted content, managing campaigns, and expanding our digital footprint.Staying Informed on Industry Trends: Keeping up with industry trends and competitors to inspire product innovation and identify new opportunities.What We're Looking ForProven Experience: Background in Technical Sales or Product Management within a technology-driven industry.Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills to connect effectively with customers and internal teams.Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to translate user needs into clear product requirements.Solid Technical Background: Relevant industry experience, ideally with some technical qualifications.Customer Engagement: Comfortable interacting with customers at both managerial and technical levels.What We OfferAt Halytech, we are committed to providing a rewarding work environment where you will be a valued part of the team, as we enter a new growth phase.
