You're going to help us create seamless operations that result in efficiency for millions of customers.
In this role, you'll: Own and manage the release calendar, ensuring alignment across application and service portfolio teams, suppliers, and stakeholders while proactively identifying and addressing project interdependencies.Maintain a centralized release repository with up-to-date information on build and release procedures, dependencies, and communication protocols.Coordinate seamless go-live activities, including deployment execution, risk mitigation, and real-time communication of progress, issues, and updates to stakeholders.Act as a liaison across cross-functional teams, including Test and Development Managers, Enterprise PMOs, and third-party suppliers, to ensure efficient release delivery and collaboration.Prepare and deliver comprehensive release reports for senior management and stakeholders, providing actionable insights and updates on schedules, risks, and outcomes.Proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate risks impacting release scope, schedule, and quality while ensuring on-time and budget-compliant delivery.Drive release readiness reviews, milestone checks, and post-release evaluations, including preparing for Change Advisory Board discussions and resolving roadblocks.Develop, document, and refine release and deployment processes, ensuring alignment with quality frameworks and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Anticipate and address potential risks, contributing to the creation and execution of risk management strategies and ensuring effective control measures.Collaborate as part of a centralized Release Management team to standardize practices, streamline operations, and enhance alignment across the enterprise.About you: Extensive experience in Service Management, fostering strategic partnerships to enhance performance.Proven ability to deliver tailored service reporting for operational and management needs.Expertise with ITSM tools, driving process improvements and operational efficiency.Success in managing governance frameworks to achieve customer-focused outcomes.Skilled in handling complex release schedules across multiple transformation programs.Strong ability to standardize and streamline release processes across diverse organizations.Who we are: Transport for NSW provides a safe, integrated, and efficient transport system.
