Job Description
Take ownership of month-end close for your business portfolio Work with Group Finance and your Finance Business Partners to build annual budgets, refresh monthly forecasts, and related reporting within our Workforce portfolio Fixed-term 11 month full-time position based at Qantas Head Office in Mascot Today, we're busy planning for tomorrow.

The Centre of Financial Excellence (COFE) is a service responsible for ensuring financial processes and reporting are standardised, controlled and efficiently executed across the Group.
On a day-to-day basis, our Financial Control Teams, working in a centralised Finance function, support the various Finance Business Partner Teams and the business to drive effective decision-making.
As the Senior Financial Analyst , you will be responsible for month-end close, assisting with forecasting and reporting, analysis and advice on all financial aspects across the Workforce portfolio.
You'll have –
Professional accounting qualifications (CA/CPA qualified) Experience in a financial accounting role, with 5+ years' experience Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels Strong attention to detail, working with large volumes of, often complex, data Motivated self-starter with questioning mind/ analytical skills Able to provide value-add analysis and advice Able to work under time pressure and reprioritise when required High level of accountability and resilience Why Qantas?
