This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Payroll Officer to join a dynamic and growing national business.
You'll play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll for a diverse workforce of around 1100, all while being part of a supportive and collaborative team.
You will have exposure to senior leaders, including the Group Financial Controller, and will work closely with State Managers and HR to meet the needs of the local workforce.

Impactful Work: You'll have the chance to make a direct impact on employees' experience by ensuring their payroll is processed accurately and on time, every time.
Your expertise will be key in maintaining payroll integrity, from new employee records to complex queries.
Variety and Challenge: You'll handle weekly payroll processing, manage special pays (such as back pays and bonuses), and reconcile payroll reports with the General Ledger.
There's never a dull moment, with opportunities to work on diverse payroll challenges and continuous improvements.
Professional Growth: You'll work closely with senior leadership, gaining exposure to key stakeholders like the Group Financial Controller.
You'll also collaborate with HR and State Managers, expanding your network and skill set.
Collaborative Environment: Join a close-knit team of three in payroll, within a larger finance team of 15 professionals.
Together, you'll ensure compliance, resolve queries, and manage payroll adjustments with high standards of accuracy and integrity.
Your experience:
You bring around 3+ years of payroll experience, including both white- and blue-collar payroll management, and a good understanding of award/EBA interpretation.
Systems: experience with Preceda or other leading payroll systems Attention to Detail: Your organizational skills and precision in payroll processing will ensure your success.
You're proactive in resolving payroll challenges and have a high level of integrity in managing confidential information.
Team Player: Your ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and communicate effectively will help you thrive in this fast-paced, supportive environment.
