Please be advised that there is a temporary top-up for Bands 1, 2, and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top-up to the living wage of £12 per hour - £23,465 per annum.
This temporary top-up will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2024/25 is confirmed.

Main duties of the job The Clerical Officer in Sexual Health is responsible for a range of administrative tasks that ensure the efficient operation of the service.
Key duties include:
Patient Records Management : Accurately entering and updating patient information in health records systems, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to data protection policies.
Appointment Management : Handling appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling, ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient use of clinic time.
Reception Duties : Providing frontline reception services, greeting patients, answering inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate services.
Communication Coordination : Facilitating communication between healthcare professionals and patients, managing incoming calls, and ensuring timely follow-up on patient needs.
Reporting and Documentation : Preparing reports, managing correspondence, and maintaining an organized filing system to support clinical staff.
Support Services : Assisting in the coordination of meetings, managing supplies, and supporting other administrative functions as needed.
The role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism and patient confidentiality.
The Clerical Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring that the Sexual Health service operates smoothly and patients receive timely and effective administrative support.
