The roleThe Manager, Contracts team leads the contract management team which is responsible for managing the performance of externally contracted retrieval service providers.The successful personYou will have demonstrated:Highly effective interpersonal (oral and written) skills, including demonstrated ability to consult, negotiate and influence staff at all levels and provide authoritative advice to senior management on a range of complex organisational issues, and the ability to prepare complex submissions, briefings and reports.Proven ability to manage a team to deliver agreed outcomes.Excellent knowledge of health service delivery including an understanding of the relationship between the Department of Health and Hospital and Health Services.High level management skills and experience with a record of planning, managing concurrent projects, competing priorities, meeting deliverables, managing risk, and delivering outputs and business benefits.About usThe Department of Health is responsible for the overall management of the public health system in Queensland.
