Full Job Description Position: Security Officer (Healthcare) Location: Various healthcare facilities across Metro and Regional Western Australia Key Responsibilities: Maintain a professional demeanour and effective communication with hospital staff, carers, and patients.Follow instructions from clinical staff, identify behaviours of concern, and take prompt actions to avert unpleasant situations.Safeguard clinical staff, patients, and fellow colleagues from potential harm.Respond calmly and effectively to patients displaying aggressive behavior.Employ de-escalation strategies and techniques and demonstrate robust mental resilience in challenging situations.Ability to apply control and restraint techniques as needed to safely manage situations involving high-risk patients.Willingness to work in a demanding environment across various hospital departments including Trauma, ICU, and Mental Health Units.Document and report observations and incidents in accordance with company policies, including shift reports and incident reports.Maintain mental and physical fitness for a 12-hour shift.Qualifications and Requirements: Valid WA Security Officer license.

(Mandatory)Right to work in Australia.
(Mandatory)Experience in healthcare security.
