Glazing Team Leader/Project Coordinator – Career Opportunity Sutherland Shire Glass Industry Permanent Full Time Attractive Salary Package incl.
Motor Vehicle We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Glazier to join our team in the Sutherland Shire.
In this role, you will work closely with our Operations Manager and Estimator, playing a key role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of our projects.
You will be involved in all aspects of glazing, with a primary focus on Aluminium & Glazing Projects in the Metro area.
Role Outcome Responsible for the safe and profitable delivery of all replacement glazing, glass and aluminium projects from beginning to end.
Insure transparent and continual communication with the Operations Manager, the Glazing Team, Clients, Suppliers and other Stakeholders.
Recruitment of the "next you", identify and train or recruit for the next Glazing Team Leader (to enable you to move into Project Management and Business Development).
Overview of Key Responsibilities Project Oversight: manage the planning, coordination and execution of glazing projects, ensuring they make quality standards and deadlines, and remain within budget.
Hands-On Involvement: Engage directly on on-site activities including installation and quality control, using your technical skills and glazing tools.
Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of glaziers and sub-contractors, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Client Relations: Maintain strong communication with clients, provide updates, addressing concerns and insuring satisfaction throughout the project life cycle.
