Join our team to experience a dynamic work environment with potential for advancement and professional developmentAn exciting position has become available in the Perioperative department at ERH for a Central Sterilizing Services Department (CSSD)/Theatre Technician.
This hands-on role will suit someone with a motivated personality and passion for patient care and infection control.
This is a fantastic opportunity that includes training in the field and work hours.
If you have ever had an interest in joining the health care field this is the role for youThe position will involve rostered hours as both a Theatre Technician and CSSD Technician @ ERH.
Training is on offer for the successful person in both fields.Key responsibilities include:Managing the transport and safety of the Perioperative patientEnsuring the safe processing of Perioperative InstrumentationWorking towards qualifications Cert 3 in both areas (as per position description) in the first 12 months (if not already held)Demonstrate previous experience with the following:Communicate well at all levelsBuild a positive Culture around serviceQualifications/experience required:Ideally has qualifications in CSSD and or Theatre technician (Cert 3) or would be willing to undertake further studies.Experience working in a field where infection prevention is held in the highest regardHigh-level awareness of Safety and policies and processesDemonstrated knowledge of sterilisation processesA team playerWorking for ERHAt ERH we offer a supportive and inclusive culture that offers opportunity for growth and development.
