An exciting position has become available in the Perioperative department at ERH for a Central Sterilizing Services Department (CSSD)/Theatre Technician.
This hands-on role will suit someone with a motivated personality and passion for patient care and infection control.
This is a fantastic opportunity that includes training in the field and work hours.

The position will involve rostered hours as both a Theatre Technician and CSSD Technician @ ERH.
Training is on offer for the successful person in both fields.

Key responsibilities include:
Managing the transport and safety of the Perioperative patient Ensuring the safe processing of Perioperative Instrumentation Working towards qualifications Cert 3 in both areas (as per position description) in the first 12 months (if not already held) Demonstrate previous experience with the following:Communicate well at all levels Build a positive Culture around service Qualifications/experience required:
Ideally has qualifications in CSSD and or Theatre technician (Cert 3) or would be willing to undertake further studies.
Experience working in a field where infection prevention is held in the highest regard High-level awareness of Safety and policies and processes Demonstrated knowledge of sterilisation processes A team player Working for ERH
