The hotel has 209 accommodation rooms, 5 food and beverage outlets and multiple event spaces offering incredible views and amazing experiences.About the roleAs the Restaurant Manager you will take the lead in creating memorable moments in our Restaurant. You will oversee the operation of Palisade Kitchen & Bar, and In Room Dining, as well as supporting the Food & Beverage Manager with administrative and operational functions.Above all, you will ensure all team members provide a warm genuine welcome to guests, anticipate their needs and go above and beyond to create memorable moments. Enjoy a Tuesday to Saturday working week with a strong focus on Lunch and Dinner Service.ResponsibilitiesWork with the Food & Beverage Manager to drive the Restaurants performance by contributing to the bigger picture, managing costs, identifying, and increasing revenue opportunities, and ensuring continuous improvement through your ability to think outside the box.Work with the Head Chef and Food & Beverage Manager on menu design and upsell initiatives.Have a calming influence on guests and team members; maintaining a positive, and level-headed demeanour during peak service periods, and assisting the team with the resolution of any issues that may come our way.Manage rostering with consideration to payroll budgets and manning guide.Have a desire to create an amazing experience for each guest and the ability to instil this in your team.Have an eye for detail and venue presentation; ensuring impeccable cleanliness and good repair of the outlets addressing and rectifying any discrepancies.Work cohesively and collaboratively with other key departments such as Front Office, Bar Operations, Conference and Events Operations, Sales teams, and Kitchen to ensure seamless service delivery to all guests.About youHave experience working in full table service al a carte restaurants or hotels (preferably within a 4.5 – 5-star venue) as a Duty Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager.Up-to-date with current and upcoming food and wine trends.Have a working knowledge and understanding of legal compliance, SOP's, WHS, modern award framework and national employment standards.Enjoy a hands-on role.Hold a current RSA.What We OfferDiscounts at Accor Hotels.Genuine career progression and growth opportunities across both Accor Hotels and the Oscars Group.Supportive and fun team culture.Stunning venue and beachside location.Ongoing training and upskilling.Free car parking.
