Role: Senior Back-end Engineer
Salary: $145 - $165 + super + Bonuses
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Laravel engineer to join a scaling Fin-tech business.
This is an opportunity to join a very accomplished senior engineering team that has experience in growing some of Sydney's success stories.
The business has strong financials in place and is well into profitability.
With the expected demand for the new product, they need to ensure they have the best engineers on board to build out this platform.
This is an opportunity to put your stamp on the technology and have a strong influence on what direction the product takes.
About the role: Report to CTO Take ownership over the product and provide technical direction moving forward.
Backend focused engineering Work across designing, tuning algorithms and data structures.
Implementing a test-focused environment.
Relational Database design and implementation.
Design and deploy code to scale out the platform.
Implement IaC About you: Experience in scaling out a platform in Laravel.
AWS experience.
Several years of use in the Laravel ecosystem.
CI/CD experience and K8s alongside Docker.
Mature DevOps approach.
Prior use and understanding of cloud - AWS SQS, EC2, RDS.
