Operations Manager

We are a highly successful and growing Global International Freight Forwarding company with an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, experienced and hands-on Operations Manager.
Reporting to the MD, and managing 8+ staff, you will have a strong ocean and air freight background with a passion to help develop others grow & fulfill their potential.
This is a key role within the company that will suit a career-oriented person who wants to take on the responsibility of leading an essential, high-performing and growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the Operations and Warehouse teams Liaise and build strong working relationships with customers, shipping lines, airlines, suppliers, and overseas agents Ensure a smooth running of the department Create and implement improved processes and procedures in customer service excellence & logistics solutions Meet operational KPIs Prepare and present management reports You will have:
10+ years Freight Forwarding experience (Sea and Air / Import and Export) Complete and full understanding of end-to-end sea freight & air freight processes Strong and proven leadership qualities Ability to lead, train and mentor others Cargowise experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to 'think outside the box' and deliver creative workable solutions If you would like to apply for this position and feel that you possess the relevant skills and experience to succeed, please submit your resume with cover letter.
