We are looking for a reliable person to assist us one to two days per week to keep our Residential Care Home looking its best.
Job Description Duties may include: Tidying up gardens Pruning Site rubbish pickup Minor repairs or maintenance Changing light globes BBQ checks Pressure washing paths Re-arranging storerooms Painting Lubricating door locks If you feel this is a good match for you, we'd like to hear from you.
Your impact Volunteering as a Maintenance Handyperson Volunteer can be a rewarding experience, both for the people you interact with as well as yourself.
Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
In your daily tasks and routine, you will cross paths with residents interested in what you are doing and who love a chat.
Hammond Care Hammond Care is passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need.
We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by Hammond Care.
Requirements Any day of the week Monday-Friday between 9am and 5pm.18 years or older - National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by Hammond Care plus NDIS Worker Screening Check.
