HammondCare is an independent Christian charity specialising in dementia care, palliative care, rehabilitation, specialist mental health for older people, and other health and aged services.
Job Description We are looking for a reliable person to assist us one to two days per week to keep our Residential Care Home looking its best.
Duties may include tidy up of our gardens, pruning, site rubbish pickup, minor repair or maintenance, changing light globes, BBQ checks, pressure washing paths, re-arranging storerooms, painting, and lubricating door locks.

Volunteering as a Maintenance Handyperson Volunteer can be a rewarding experience, both for the people you interact with as well as yourself.
Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
In your daily tasks and routine, you will cross paths with residents interested in what you are doing and who love a chat.
Requirements Any day of the week Monday-Friday between 9am and 5pm.
18 years or older - National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare plus NDIS Worker Screening Check.
