Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:Store Operations SupervisorDepartment:City: MelbourneLocation: AUINTRODUCTIONThrough your passion for the brand and professionalism you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently supervising all aspects of the store's back of house.
You will ensure that excellent service is provided to the store staff and effective communication is maintained with departments and external providers to the store.RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the Store Manager with all procedures to streamline and safeguard the store.Ensure that the store operates in accordance with store and company administration systems and procedures to minimize losses including Omnichannel and stock pull back.Effectively use space and stock in the back of house to maximize productivity and minimize stock loss through management of the team and resources.Manage aftersales processes (alterations, repairs, personalization), including coordination with on-site tailors/external vendors to elevate the client experience.Responsible for all aspects of inventory control including receiving and handling stock orders from hub or warehouse, ensuring accuracy of products received and reporting any discrepancies.Support the store manager with stock-related collaboration with marketing, client engagement, merchandising, visual merchandising, facilities, or other departments.Ensure all stockroom equipment is working and fully operational, raising any concerns through Ask services immediately.Keep the back of house tidy and compliant with Health and Safety and Retail Operations Standards.Conduct quality control on all products at all times and report any issues to the store lead.Perform adhoc administration tasks including answering telephone calls, liaising with customer service, and managing stationary and supermarket orders.PERSONAL PROFILEExcellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.Ability to work in a busy team environment.Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the business.Previous administration and cash handling experience.Previous experience with SAP is desirable.Excellent understanding of all Microsoft Office programs.Passion for technology and proven ability to embrace new technology.MEASURES OF SUCCESSAccurate stock take results.Accurate reporting.FOOTERBurberry is an Equal Opportunities Employer and treats all applications equally, recruiting purely on the basis of skills and experience.
