To support our journey, the P&C team is expanding and can't wait to welcome a P&C Business Partner with just the right experience and personality to complement our team
The Role Based at our Dandenong Head Office, this role is loaded with opportunity and variety, and will involve all facets of HR, ER and IR.
This is a critical role in supporting the P&C Manager to take the P&C function to the next level and ensuring we align to the changing and evolving needs of the business.
This role is operational in nature and will get you out and about within the business building relationships, providing expert HR advice and supporting our workforce - perfect for P&C Business Partners who like to roll up their operational sleeves and immerse themselves in challenge and change
The possible tasks of this role are wide and varied.
To give you a taste, specific duties may include:
Partnering with the business to provide expert advice to managers and employees on HR, EBA, award and HR policy matters and issues affecting the businessHR reporting and analysis for internal and external government stakeholdersManagement of grievances and complaints including conducting workplace investigationsManagement of leave without pay and employee absencesSupport the HR function to ensure diversity & inclusion framework is established, maintained and updatedManagement of strategy, projects and programmes aimed to ensure we meet our diversity targets and provide a safe and inclusive workplace.Coordination of performance review processLiaise with employees and managers to provide advice on remuneration and benefit issues in particular when preparing employment agreementsSupport the business with employee engagement initiativesAssist in the development, implementation and ongoing management of end to end HR processesMaintenance and updating of HR policies and process frameworkCoordination of projects and initiatives designed to meet the strategic and operational requirements of the function and business as a wholeManagement of diversity and inclusion framework, policies, operational delivery & initiatives and reportingWhat you will need Technical requirements of this role include:
A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or business related disciplineExperience in a business role in a HR or People & Culture environmentA sound background of generalist HR & ER and related tasks in a fast-paced and diverse workplaceUp to date knowledge of HR compliance, and legislationAbility to write compliant and sound HR policy and processesSound background of HR & ER in a fast-paced workplaceStrong MS Excel skills including data manipulation, vlookups and formattingSound experience using MS Word & PowerpointHR technical abilities aside we value who you are
