About the roleJoin the dynamic team at Sevron Environmental Contractors as a Team Leader.
This full-time position is based in Werribee, VIC 3030 and will see you leading a team of skilled labourers/drivers to deliver high-quality tree planting and maintenance related services to our valued clients.
What you'll be doing Oversee a team of labourers/drivers to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of gardening and landscaping servicesLiaise directly with CouncilLiaise closely with the Contracts Manager with regards to current work and any upcoming workManage the daily operations of your team, including task allocation, quality control and monitoring progressLiaise with clients to understand their requirements and ensure their satisfaction with the completed workAccurate record keeping of all works carried out; planting and maintenance tasks and reactive work requestsProvide hands-on support and guidance to your team, demonstrating technical skills as neededMaintain accurate records and documentation related to team performanceMaintain the upkeep of any Sevron equipment ensuring that everything is clean, in safe working order and is serviced regularly.Communicate regularly with the Business Support Team to assist with vehicle, equipment and OH&S compliance.Order and store all materials required to complete the contract (e.g.
herbicide, rapid set, water wells, stakes, fertiliser, tree cages and all PPE, etc)Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practicesWhat we're looking for Experience in managing horticultural and / or tree planting and establishment contractsStrong technical knowledge of gardening and landscaping techniques, materials, and equipmentExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to navigate challenges and deliver high-quality resultsEffective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and lead your teamAttention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standardsCurrent and valid licence (MR Truck desirable)What we offerAt Sevron Environmental Contractors, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and supportive work environment.
