The Opportunity A unique opportunity awaits for a strategic and operational leader to step into the role of Director of Planning and Performance.
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and operational performance of the organisation.
You will be responsible for driving key initiatives, leading the development of business plans, and ensuring that reporting frameworks and performance mechanisms are aligned with the organisation's long-term goals.

The Role As the Director of Planning and Performance, you will lead a team responsible for defining the organisation's strategic objectives, operational priorities, and performance oversight.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will: Develop comprehensive business plans Set priorities Guide the organisation's strategic direction over both 12-month and 36-month horizons Key responsibilities include: Leading the development of corporate plans and operational strategies Collaborating with Finance to align annual budgets with strategic priorities Driving continuous improvement through the implementation of performance frameworks Preparing and presenting performance reports to the Senior Leadership Team and Board Managing internal and external reporting processes, including key organisational reports such as the Annual Report and Corporate Report In this role, you'll be expected to collaborate with teams across the organisation, providing expert advice on strategic planning, resource allocation, and performance management to achieve long-term organisational goals.
The Ideal Person As the ideal candidate, you are a dynamic and strategic leader with extensive experience in both public and private sectors, particularly in organisational performance, governance, and strategic planning.
You have a proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and developing comprehensive business plans that drive organisational success.
Your ability to analyse data and trends to guide strategic decisions, coupled with your expertise in implementing and managing performance frameworks, sets you apart.
You excel in preparing and presenting reports to senior leadership and boards, providing insightful recommendations that shape high-level decisions.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential, as you will engage with various stakeholders to align strategies and achieve business objectives.
Familiarity with reporting tools and dashboard development is highly desirable, ensuring you can enhance organisational effectiveness and meet evolving needs.
Salary / Rate $85/hr – $90/hr + Super s26 / non-ongoing contract will also be considered 6 – 12-month contract #J-18808-Ljbffr
