Scott Electrical Services Pty Ltd is a Brookvale based company that has been trading since 2004, specialising in electrical infrastructure projects in the Sydney Metropolitan Area.
We are an authorised Level 1 & 2 Electrical Service Provider, able to undertake works on the Ausgrid, Endeavour and Essential Energy networks.
We have earned a strong reputation in the industry for completing projects cost effectively and on time, whilst maintaining our client level of satisfaction.
We are looking to appoint a full time Senior Electrical Project Manager who will be a vital part of the Level 1 Projects Team and who will report to the GM / Director.
The role demands an enthusiastic achievement focused project management professional.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the delivery of projects safely, within budget and to agreed timelines and quality.
Support the works management function within our company including works processes, systems, resource requirements and project methodologies.
Proactively manage customers and stakeholders such as utilities, developers, consultants and contractors.
Supervise and manage the site teams to ensure work scope is being followed with variations to scope being recorded, notified and agreed as per the contract agreement.
Perform project related risk identification, assessment and mitigation plans.
Conduct site visits, inspections and procurement of materials and equipment.
Support and grow the delivery of new business opportunities and innovations.
Mentor, coach and develop other internal staff members.
Maintain a team focus with the ability to interact with a wide variety of people at all levels including external consultants and clients.
Exhibit a driven, self-motivated attitude, with the ability and confidence to work on your own initiative and as part of a great team.
Position Requirements: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and principles.
Proven ability to deliver outstanding results through the implementation of business improvement initiatives and innovation.
Ability to work constructively within a high performing team environment.
Demonstrate safety leadership and HSE performance, ensuring the overall well-being of self, team, customers and assets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills.
Proven commercial negotiation and management skills.
Focus on delivering results safely, effectively, and economically.
Experience in managing complex OH & UG construction projects up to 11KV.
A valid driver's licence.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has formal qualifications in Civil / Electrical Engineering or a related area.
Diploma or Degree level preferred or relevant experience.
