Reporting to the NSW State Sales Manager, the Sales Representative – Liquid and Hazardous waste is a critical role responsible for the sales of waste management solutions across the Greater Sydney Region, acquiring new business and maintaining client relationships.
You'll be working with a diverse range of customers and industries, so the potential to grow your portfolio is endless.
About the role A performance-based role to substantially grow new sales volumes, endeavouring to exceed KPIs through a robust cold calling sales plan.
Keep Management informed on activity and results, new business, weekly work plans, and monthly/annual business unit analysis.
Identify and target new business opportunities.
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, services, and delivery schedules.
Recommend changes in services to Management by evaluating results and competitive developments.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and tenders for existing and potential clients.
Manage, update, and maintain client information in the company CRM.
Service an assortment of existing Liquid Waste accounts across an assigned region and is accountable for: Account Management Effective monthly call cycle plans Quotes and proposals Providing market intelligence Identifying new business opportunities Identify and secure liquid waste streams which include but are not limited to: Hazardous and Quarantine Waste Chemical Waste Hydraulic Fluids and Motor Oils Product Destruction - dump stock Household Hazardous Waste Paints and thinners Bulk Liquid Waste (storm water to J120) Septic Waste Cooking Oil Grease Traps What you bring: Minimum 3+ years' work experience in high volume Door to Door Sales (D2D) sales (ideally within the liquid waste industry).
Demonstrated track record within a sales or business development position, managing sales and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously.
Presentation skills with the ability to present to all levels across various industries.
Strong computer and analytical skills.
Valid driver's licence.
