We are seeking applications for a Principal to lead our dedicated and passionate school community on a full-time temporary basis for the 2025 school year, unless otherwise determined.

About Wavell State High School Wavell State High School is situated between Wavell Heights, Kedron and Chermside in a residential environment.
The school is seven kilometres from the Brisbane central business district.
The school offers a wide range of opportunities available for our students, both within the school curriculum and through extra-curricular activities.
Wavell State High School is a large highly sought after school characterised by outstanding achievement in the academic, cultural and sporting arenas.
About the Role You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks: Leading the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
Upholding the principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
Set high standards for student and staff performance.
Understand the legislation and policies impacting on schooling.
Manage resources to achieve goals.
