Workshop Supervisor/Diesel Fitter

This business is a specialist provider of Environmental and Geotechnical drilling services to leading consulting firms.
The company's customers are a diverse range of commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects.
We are currently seeking a Workshop Supervisor/Diesel Fitter with supervisory experience to join our client's small maintenance team and work closely with the Maintenance Manager.
This position will provide a great variety of work experience, constantly challenging with great opportunities for training and career development.
Equipment includes drilling rigs, compressors, pumps, and heavy vehicles.
Successful applicants will be required to be able to travel at short notice.
Skills Required: Proficiency in diesel engine diagnostics and repairBasic welding and fabrication skillsExperience with heavy equipment rebuilding and refurbishingFamiliarity with maintaining heavy drilling equipmentStrong understanding of hydraulic systemsAbility to troubleshoot electrical faultsS11 Coal Board Medical certificationAttributes Required: Capacity to maintain a positive attitude in physically and mentally challenging environmentsWillingness to travel to various sites and remote locations for field service and repairsGenuine passion for machines and an eagerness to understand their mechanicsComputer literacy and an openness to adopting new technologiesEnjoys collaborating with small teams to tackle challengesA commitment to ongoing learning and professional growthRequired Qualifications: Relevant trade certificateAbility to pass a fitness-for-work medical examAustralian citizenshipWhat On Offer: Job securityCompetitive hourly rateLot of overtimeThe chance to grow and develop within a dedicated and dynamic teamIf you're seeking a challenging yet rewarding career and have exceptional skills, we want to hear from you
